Teams forms a key aspects of our activities as a Church. These areas of ministry are carefully and prayerfully put together to meet the spiritual, social, physical and emotional needs of the people within the Church and to the community where God has placed us. Pastoral Care is a ministry of reaching inward to people in our congregation when they need help. We heartily welcome anyone interested in becoming a New Member! The list of what is done by this ministry is limited only by the requests. When people are wounded or hurt we heal through Christ, When people are confused or perplexed we guide them through Christ, When people are overwhelmed or stretched to the limit, we sustain them emotionally through Christ, When people are alienated or separated, we provide reconciliation through Christ, When they are feeling stuck or trapped, we liberate them through Christ. You are enthusiastically encouraged to attend meetings of these groups and learn more about how you can participate in providing love and care to members of our congregation. This group comes together to pray for the needs of the Church as a “body”, the relevance of the Church within the community and for the peace of the land where God placed us as a Church. We have a Church Prayer Line (Monday-Thursday) 8PM-9PM. Contact us for details!
This group’s main task is to look after the welfare of the Church as a body. Receiving and following up visitors and new members. They coordinate “Discipleship Classes” for new members in order to fully integrate them into the service of the Lord within and outside the Church. Our Men’s Fellowship team or as we call it the Brother’s group, is aimed at developing and nurturing the champion inside every man, because we believe every man is a born achiever and as a group we’ll not only support each other but also help to bring out the best in each as we follow the precepts of the Word of God for any man that would be successful in the Home, Church and in the Society. The women’s group, as we call it as The Daughters of Zion, is aimed at meeting the specific needs of every woman in the Church, because we believe every woman is a born with a virtue that makes her stand out victoriously in the Home, Church and in the Society at large. It is therefore important for ALL women in the Church to be part of this group. The group meets regularly every Monday at 8PM-9PM via phone line.

Our music group assists and leads the congregation in worship and praise. The emphasis is not placed on professionalism but on the anointing to minister professionally. This group works closely with the vision of the Church to make worship relevant not only in the local Church but also in the body of Christ as a whole. Because of its important role in our worship sessions, workshops are often undertaken to fully equip the Music Department. This department co-ordinates regular evangelism / outreach activities that will demonstrate our primary assignment as a Church to the immediate community and the nation at large. The youth group, as implied, is aimed at developing and mentoring this adventurous and impressionable age-group. Providing a save haven and a grooming ground, through the Word of God, for potentials and destinies that are vulnerable to peer pressure and bad societal influence. They regularly hold an eagerly anticipated and well-attended Youth Meeting every once in a month to celebrate what it means to be satisfied in Christ and to let others in their age group know that you don’t have to compromise with the “world” to fit in.

The purpose of this team is to support the church in its overall goal of evangelization, edification, and being benevolent to fellow believers. Throughout the year, the church finance committee oversees the budget, keeping the finances in line. The church finance committee stays in contact with the church’s treasurer, assisting him in tracking finances and keeping with the budget. At regular church business meetings, the church finance committee presents the current financial statement. During tax time, the church finance committee takes care of the church’s taxes and also manages the church’s investment accounts and insurance needs. Additional responsibilities of the church include approval of special offerings /fundraiser/special outreach donations/unexpected expenditures/changes in investments.
This team would be responsible for the property God has entrusted to the congregation. They supervise and maintain the property of the congregation to ensure that disciple-making ministries of the congregation are effective and that local legal requirements related to the property are satisfied. In addition this team are great enablers to a enabling a worship service which expresses Kingdom values of grace, love and unity, by creating a positive experience both for the visiting local preacher or minister and the congregation on a Sunday morning.
This group manages, in collaboration with the Senior Pastor, weekly bulletin, website, and other public relations’ media for the Church. This group watches and guards the “IMAGE” and/or PROFILE of everything relating to the Church, making sure it stays relevant to the Members and the communities that the vision is aimed at. The group ensures that all the technical needs of the Church are met, maintained and updated – i.e. Audio, Visual and Computer Systems. The team is responsible for providing audio and video coverage for every Church Service and maintain the archives of all Church audio/visual materials.
